Ondine was featured in the exhibit The Happiness Project, which was inspired by the Juno Award-winning album of the same name by musician Charles Spearin. In the exhibit, a team of artists each interpreted one of the tracks of the album in an individually designed room.
I was invited by Artist Bloc, a Toronto arts collective and the project’s organizer, to be a part of this exhibit. I was given the track Ondine, which centers on an interaction between Spearin and his eponymous daughter, and created a .
The Happiness Project opened on October 1st as part of Toronto’s all night arts festival Nuit Blanche and closed on October 14th.
