I’m still having problems with the edge-detection shader artifact. While I did find a solution to get rid of it last month, the problem is building it that way takes way too long, and makes it very difficult to do rapid iteration.
I end up having to create a ton more geometry to deal for each thing I want to create (instead of 6 walls for a box room, I need pieces for the edge of each face, where the blocks overlap, etc).
It was just way too tedious.
I’m going to leave the artifacts in for now, and either rebuild the geomtry once iterating is done, or find another solution to the artifact problem.
Other than that, the reconstruction of world no. 1 is coming along nicely.
